

Deepen your practice of Yoga asanas and pranayama and understand how Yoga helps you on a deeper level. This 10 day certificate course is designed for Yoga students or teachers from all traditions to learn more about the mind and understand better how to control it. It is based on the teaching of Yoga Psychology (Patanjali) combined with the teaching of the Self of Vedanta Philosophy (Sankaracharya).
Ayurveda Psychology will also be presented with its practical methods of how to heal and balance the mind.
There will be case studies and discussions on counseling strategies to help therapists or people who are working in a counseling role for people with emotional and mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, anger, addictions, eating disorders.
Upon completion of the course, you will have the skills to introduce the healing potentials of the holistic science of Yoga and Ayurveda into your own life and those around you.

Swami Sitaramananda has a PhD from Open International University and a Master degree from University of Montreal, Canada. She is a senior disciple of Swami Vishnudevananda and an experienced teacher in Meditation and Yoga Pschychology for more than 25 years. Durga Leela has been involved with Yoga and Ayurveda for 10 years and has developed the "Yoga of Recovery" program. She has led retreats internationally since then. She has completed both the Sivananda Yoga teachers Training Course and the Advanced Yoga Training and is also extensively trained in meditation and Vedanta.
